A landmark moment in our early journey occurred just days ago in Sep- 2023, when a delegation from Germany visited our association. This group of 10-12 dairy experts and agricultural professionals came to Kurukshetra to study Haryana’s dairy farming model, which has earned the state the title "Milk Pail of India." The visit was a testament to our growing global recognition, as the delegation was impressed by our use of modern techniques like automated milking systems and IoT-based cattle health monitoring. They also engaged with our farmers, discussing sustainable practices and exploring avenues for future collaboration, such as sharing European technologies and breeding techniques to enhance our livestock quality.
Our core mission is to empower dairy farmers through a range of services. We conduct monthly seminars to disseminate the latest farming techniques, publish technical guides on dairy management, and facilitate access to high-quality resources like cattle semen from global suppliers. Our partnerships with UCO Bank provide low-interest loans, while our collaboration with MILKFED Punjab ensures better milk procurement prices. Additionally, our mobile help van service delivers veterinary care and technical expertise directly to farms, addressing health and operational challenges effectively. The German visitors praised these initiatives, noting their potential to serve as a model for other regions.
